Posted by paul43 on August 4, 2017 at 9:35 AM

In collaboration with the Mosaic Rooms in Kensington, on Wednesday 10th May at 7pm Lukas Pairon, founder and Director of Music Fund, chaired an event featuring the work of two artists working in Palestine, acclaimed pianist Saleem Ashkar (Music Fund ambassador, Nazareth/Berlin) and visual artist Michèle Vanvlasselaer (artistic director Glazza, Brussels). The full announcement is at: http://mosaicrooms.org/event/in-and-out/. The artists talked, showed video-footage of their work, and Saleem also performed a Beethoven sonatat. Lukas set their work in the context of Music Fund's active presence in Palestine.

About 50 people, both old friends and new, attended this unusual and engaging event.
